Special Teams – Brian Crusoe

Brian Crusoe is an assistant football coach at Poway High.  This is Coach Crusoe’s first season with the Titans and he will serve a Special Teams coach.

 

Brian is a native of Oakland, California and was a Free Safety and Wide Receiver at San Leandro High School with Coach Coats before transferring to San Lorenzo High School and graduating in 1994.

 

-After High School, Coach Crusoe enlisted in the United States Navy as a Damage Controlman.  Coach Crusoe retired after 20 years of honorable service in 2016, he obtained the rank of Chief Petty Officer.  Coach Crusoe spent a majority of his time overseas with tours of duty in Japan (x3), Cuba, Greece and Hawaii.  While stationed in Yokosuka Japan he played Semi Pro Football for the Yokosuka Seahawk and won 3 inter-service titles.

 

-Coach Crusoe was the Junior Varsity Offensive Coordinator at Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley.  His second coaching assignment was as the Varsity Special Teams coach at Grossmont High School in El Cajon.

 

Coach Crusoe has his Associates of Arts Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at Saint Leo University in Florida

 

Brian is married to Tarrah Patterson, together they have five children, Jalen (22), Anthony (15), Brooklynn (11), Bostyn (8), and Bricyn and New Year’s Day baby.
